Dr. Karen Jackson-Williams

Dr. Karen Jackson-Williams is a graduate of Maryland University of Integrative Health (MUIH), formerly Tai Sophia Institute, located in Laurel, Maryland where she earned her Master of Acupuncture Degree in 2008, Master of Oriental Medicine Degree in 2013 and earned her Doctor of Oriental Medicine degree in 2016. Before graduating from MUIH, Dr. Jackson-Williams earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in English at Morgan State University located in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Jackson-Williams is a licensed Acupuncturist by the State of Maryland Board of Acupuncture; Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner; certified Acupuncture Detoxification Specialist by the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA); certified in Mental Health First Aid and certified in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association. She is also a member of the Maryland Acupuncture Society.

 Dr. Jackson-Williams has a phenomenal bedside manner that allows her to effectively partner with her patient's in their healing journey. She has helped patients overcome pain, stress, anxiety, insomnia, complications from cancer and auto-immune diseases and infertility, just to name a few. She also had the privilege to treat wounded warriors at the Walter Reed Medical Center. Dr. Jackson-Williams is currently receiving new patients in her private practice, Honey-Bee Free Acupuncture, and Chinese Medicine.
